Short description of the project: On November 7, 2023, the company Vektor Grupa d.o.o. signed, with the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development and the Croatian Agency for SMEs, Innovation and Investments, a Grant Agreement for the purpose of implementing the project entitled “Implementation of Energy and Resource Efficiency of the Company Vektor Grupa d.o.o.”, contract reference number NPOO.C1.1.1.R4-I1.01.0103. The implementation of the project is co-financed through the Recovery and Resilience Facility from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan 2021 – 2026. The implementation of this project will enable the green transition of the company by achieving goals such as greater use of recycled materials, reduction of CO₂ emission levels, greater overall savings of delivered energy, and higher contributions to the environmental objectives of the EU. Based on the project, the following objectives will be met: increase of production capacity, growth of sales revenues, increase of competitiveness in the market, improvement of energy and resource efficiency, and contribution to environmental protection. The target groups of the project are customers, suppliers, employees, and the local community.


Project objectives: The central problem of the company Vektor Grupa, which was solved by this project, were high energy costs and insufficient production capacities to meet existing customer demand. The main purpose of the project is to enable the company Vektor Grupa d.o.o. a comprehensive green transition. By procuring machines and equipment, the company has increased production capacities and enabled the employment of new staff. The project allows for a higher level of production capacity, growth in employment, growth of sales revenues on domestic and foreign markets, and increased competitiveness. Through this investment, the company has secured equipment of the highest technological level, which enables a faster and higher quality production process, while improving employee knowledge. By investing in machines and equipment, investment is made into increasing the regional competitiveness of the company Vektor Grupa. In this way, sustainable development of production is supported, the company’s ability to compete on international markets is strengthened, and the key elements that ensure a positive business climate are improved.

  • Increase in the use of renewable energy sources and greater energy savings.
  • Greater utilization of recycled materials.
  • Reduction of the company’s CO₂ emissions.
  • Contribution to achieving the environmental goals of the green transition.
  • Investments in new machinery will enable the growth and development of the company and the creation of new jobs.
  • Increase in the number of employees.
  • Strengthening the company’s competitive position in the labor market.
